Samantha Katie James, a 22-year old actress and professional model, has been crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2017 and is set to compete for Malaysia’s quest for that elusive win in Miss Universe 2017.
She was crowned by Miss Universe 2016 Kiran Jassal in a glittering ceremony. Finishing first runner-up is Dana Low while Ollemadthee Kunasagaran and Laura Simon were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
