The splendid finale of Miss Israel 2017 has concluded and Adar Gandelsman has been crowned as Miss Universe Israel 2017. Adar succeeds Miss Universe Israel 2016 Yam Kaspers Ashel and will now represent Israel at Miss Universe 2016 pageant.
19-year-old Adar Gandelsman hails from Ashkelon and defeated 15 other contestants to clinch the coveted title and the prestigious opportunity to represent the country internationally. She was adjudged the first runner-up at the finals where Rotem Rabi was crowned as the winner and earned the right to represent Israel at Miss World 2017 pageant.

At the same pageant, Noya Ariely and Dana Solomon made it to the Top 4 finalists. The Miss Israel Organization has handled Miss Universe and Miss World franchise since 1952, and has managed two International Grand Winners; Rina Messinger (Miss Israel 1976), Miss Universe 1976 and Linor Abargil (Miss Israel 1998), Miss World 1998.
