Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa recently attended the press presentation of the 40 finalists of Binibining Pilipinas 2017 and had an interaction with all the finalists. The reigning Miss International also shared few tips on her Instagram account for the finalists.

Kylie is now off to Japan to finish her duties as the reigning Miss International. Apart from fulfilling her duties, Kylie is also on a much needed vacation. Kylie was spotted spending her time touring around Japan with Miss Japan International Natsuki Tsutsui. They went around Kyoto—Kylie’s favorite Japanese city—explored Tokyo Disneyland, and visited the local market to try Japanese delicacies like mochi, red beans and matcha.
The beauty queen is also making a name for herself in the fashion industry. Verzosa recently posed for local retail brand Bayo with designer Francis Libiran on the occasion of the company’s 25th year, and the beauty queen posted a photo of the billboard that went up along a major road.
Talking about her advocacy, Kylie said, “My advocacy focuses on illnesses such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. I was warmly welcomed by the Institute of Mental health as i talked about the need for awareness of these sicknesses.” During the 43rd Annual Convention of the Philippine Psychiatric Association (PPA), Kylie mentioned that Suicide is currently the second gravest cause of death for ages 14 to 29.

The beauty queen has started her journey of working towards her advocacy. 24 year old beauty queen and Filipino model, was crowned as the new titleholder of the Miss International pageant from among delegates who participated in the beauty contest from various countries from all over the world.
