Q. How do you feel after winning the title of Miss Bride of the World Sweden 2015?
I feel blessed.
Q. What was your motivation behind stepping into the glamorous world of beauty pageants?
I was curios and live by the rule that I should try everything at least once. So when the opportunity appeared I took it!
Q. How confident and prepared are you on winning the title of Bride of the World?
Very confident. I prepare by taking care of myself like I always do. My body is my temple.
Since Im going to China Im also trying to learn a little Chinees as well. Finding ways to adapt to the culture when you travel is a way of showing respect that I find very important.
Q. Which Swedish beauty queen do you admire the most and why?
Thats such an interesting question. What does it take to be able to call yourself a beautyqueen in the first place? I admire every woman and girl whom dare to face the world in confidence and respect their own unique beauty even if they don’t match the ideal of today. They are all role models and beautyqueens to me. Tiaras or not!
Q. If there were no rules in your life for a day, what all would you do?
If I had the resources I would save every animal I could from a life in captivity and put them in forever loving homes or, if possible, set them free.
Q. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
I do crazy things all the time.. Life is funnier that way! One of the craziest things however, was probably when I decided to let go of every financial stability in my life to pursue my dream to work within the musicindustry. Its what I do today so I am so glad I did take that risk!
Q. Pecious or Priceless… What would you choose and Why?
Priceless! No mind or heart should ever have a price tag.
Q. What according to you defines femininity? Can a woman be both feminine and tomboyish?
A feminine woman to me is an individual who stands by her values and don’t compromise on what she deserves or likes. If a woman is the mirror image of ”classic”femininity or tomboyish has nothing to do with how feminine she is. In modern times femininity is constantly evolving and I believe that someone portraying strength no matter clothes or interests can be super feminine as long as she stays true to her inner self.
Q. So many different forms of discrimination today. What do you think is the worst one?
As a bisexual I’ve faced discrimination due to the fact that I don’t match the image of how some people portray love. This experience taught me many things but most importantly it really showed me that it should not matter what kind of body someone is born into since this is not a choice. As long as we don’t hurt any other living creature on the planet we should all be free to be ourselves without restrains or compromises. Free from discrimination. Thats one of the worst once in my opinion.
However..
The way some people take this type of discrimination even one step further and ”decides” whom they think has the right to exist because they look different.. Or judge living creatures right to live based on how they taste on the plate is however another rather distasteful side of the coin.
Q.If you had to describe your ideal man, what traits of his personality would be written in bold?
I’m bisexual so I will answer this question more openly. The person of my dreams would have the following traits written in bold: Honest, kind, vegan, fit, beautiful and smart.
Q. If you wish to write an autobiography, what would be its last sentence?
Who let the dogs out?
Q. One thing that the world doesn’t know about you?
I’d rather climb a mountain than maintain a perfect manicure.
Q. What according to you is the true essence of beauty?
Being natural, treating the body with respect and finding the confidence and respect within one self instead of looking for it in the confirmation of others. It truly makes people radiate.
Q. Any message for your fans on Angelopedia?
Treat others as you wish to be treated. No matter if the individual is an animal, a human, a stranger or a friend. Theres to much negativity in the world. Don’t ever let it consume you. Don’t ever let anyone tell you who to be, how to feel och look. Stay true to yourself.
